چکیده

Abstract: Vibrio alginolyticus is one of the important pathogens, especially found in bivalve mollusks and food poisoning humans. The severity directly proportional to virulence genes V. alginolyticus. Tdh-Related Hemolysin (trh) Thermostable Direct (tdh) have an place among In this research, 17 were isolated from orders (80.95%) 21 sets black mussels (Choromytilus Meridionalis) samples purchased local divers İzmir Balıkesir regions. While trh gene was detected 7 (42.17%) isolates, tdh 6 (35.29%) both 2 (11.76%) isolates; no or isolates (11.76%). results study are also terms public health. Black mussel a product that mainly consumed coastal areas Turkey mostly sold uncontrolled by sellers. Vibrios with can cause poisoning, summer. addition, may be tdh-trh reservoir for other vibrio species. To clarify this, more detailed research should done species

Roles of thermostable direct hemolysin (TDH) and TDH-related hemolysin (TRH) in Vibrio parahaemolyticus

Vibrio parahaemolyticus is the leading cause of seafood borne bacterial gastroenteritis in the world, often associated with the consumption of raw or undercooked seafood. However, not all strains of V. parahaemolyticus are pathogenic. The thermostable direct hemolysin (TDH) or TDH-related hemolysin (TRH) encoded by tdh and trh genes, respectively, are considered major virulence factors in V. pa...

High frequency of virulence factor genes tdh, trh, and tlh in Vibrio parahaemolyticus strains isolated from a pristine estuary.

Virulence factor genes encoding the thermostable direct hemolysin (tdh) and the thermostable direct hemolysin-related hemolysin (trh) are strongly correlated with virulence of the emergent human pathogen Vibrio parahaemolyticus. The gene encoding the thermolabile hemolysin (tlh) is also considered a signature molecular marker for the species. These genes are typically reported in very low perce...

Endophthalmitis caused by Vibrio alginolyticus.

Vibrio alginolyticus is a facultative anaerobic gram-negative bacillus found in normal marine flora. Ocular infections induced by V. alginolyticus are extremely rare. We report a case of endophthalmitis caused by V. alginolyticus to draw attention to V. alginolyticus infections following ocular injuries.

Vibrio alginolyticus infections in humans.

Two clinical isolates of Vibrio alginolyticus from New Jersey are reported, one from a mixed stump infection and the other grown in pure culture from the conjunctival discharge of a man with conjunctivitis. The biochemical characteristics and antibiotic susceptibilities of these two isolates are presented. Human infections caused by V. alginolyticus are reviewed.

Detection of tdh and trh genes in Vibrio parahaemolyticus isolated from Corbicula moltkiana prime in West Sumatera, Indonesia.

The occurrence of Vibrio parahaemolyticus in raw Corbicula moltkiana Prime from Lake Singkarak and Pasar Raya Padang market and in cooked samples in West Sumatera, Indonesia, was studied. Thirteen raw and seven cooked bivalve samples were positive using CHROMAgar Vibrio medium. All 47 V parahaemolyticus isolates were positive for toxR gene but negative for trh. However, 36% (17/47) of V parahae...
